Plate IQ was developed to meet the needs of the restaurant industry. With tons of chicken-scratched, tomato-stained invoices and overstretched staff — and with everything from cleaning supplies to fresh produce showing up on the same invoice — our founders realized restaurants had a problem to solve.
Plate IQ graduated Y Combinator in the summer of 2015 and launched with 100 restaurants in early 2016. Later on, accountants using Plate IQ let us know that the problem existed in other industries too.
We now serve more than 10,000 customers in hospitality, accounting firms, construction companies, country clubs, and more.
